International Tax Review Names Thomson Reuters 'Americas Tax Innovator of the Year' for its ONESOURCE Platform

Award recognizes importance of an integrated, comprehensive software solution for managing the corporate tax lifecycle

International Tax Review has named Thomson Reuters ‘Americas Tax Innovator of the Year’ for ONESOURCE, a software platform that corporate tax departments use to manage and automate complex tax compliance processes.

The award was bestowed at the London-based publication’s annual Americas Tax Awards ceremony in New York on Thursday.

When asked why Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE was singled out for the award, Ralph Cunningham, managing editor of International Tax Review, said: “It is down to the impact ONESOURCE has made as the comprehensive tool in the market to help tax executives control the global tax process. It clearly scores through its ability to gather data on one platform, helping users to analyze quickly and accurately the state of play in a company tax function.”

Tens of thousands of users in thousands of companies around the world use Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE to manage their workflow, conduct research and planning, collect and manage their data, file millions of returns, meet transfer pricing requirements, and defend their audits.

“This award is a tribute to the ONESOURCE development team, which has created a platform that leads the way in using technology to help companies manage an increasingly globalized, complex and connected tax world,” said Brian Peccarelli, president of the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. “Today’s tax director faces relentless change and enormous risk, so it’s crucial that they can rely on our technology to ensure compliance.”
